The UK-based Times Higher Education (THE), which conducts research and prepares reports on higher education institutions in the world, has announced the list of "Impact Rankings (2023) of Universities".

Within the scope of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the ranking carried out, Uşak University, as in previous years, has taken place among the top 1000 universities in the world in 2023.

Within the scope of "THE-Impact Rankings-Ranking of Universities (2023)," it was announced that 1591 universities from 112 different countries/regions were evaluated in 2023.

In the field of “SDG-4, Qualified Education”, Uşak University managed to rank 29th in Turkey in 2023 and in the 401-600 rankings worldwide.

The university also entered the list of world universities ranking in 601-800 under the title "SDG-3, Health and Quality Life", "SDG-9, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure", and "SDG-17, Partnerships for Purposes".

In his speech about the entry into the 2023 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings list, Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş stated that;  Uşak University is frequently mentioned with its studies serving its country and region in addition to its achievements in the scientific field, also it is important and meaningful that Uşak University has been succeeded in the THE Impact Ranking list in the global performance table, which has been evaluating and ranking universities successively in recent years according to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

He stated that this success on behalf of Uşak University once again shows the correctness and importance of the improvements they have made in terms of quality processes, accreditation and internationalization and the steps they have taken as the Uşak University family.

Stating that all academic and administrative staff, especially the managers, contributed to this success, Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş thanked to the academic and administrative staff of Uşak University. Also stating that the ranking made by THE is important for higher education institutions and he expressed that it is a source of pride for Uşak University to rank higher every year. Savaş said, “We are taking firm steps towards our strategic goals with the quality studies we have implemented at our university.” said.
