Uşak University Energy, Environment and Sustainability Application and Research Center and Carpet Application and Research Center organized a conference titled " Recycling of Textile Wastes Generated During Production".

The conference was held at Uşak University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Sibel Hişmanoğlu conference hall and Hasan Arıkan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Pınar Tüzüm Demir made a presentation on the subject.

In the conference, information was given about the methods of recycling and utilization of waste fibers resulting from textile enterprises in a controlled manner for the recovery of textile materials in regions where textile industry is widespread, such as Uşak province. It was pointed out that by utilizing the waste fibers from the textile industry, economic and environmental contributions will be made, natural resources will be protected, energy and water consumption and pollution can be minimized and sustainable production and environment can be contributed.

At the end of the event, Energy, Environment and Sustainability Application and Research Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şahin and Carpet Application and Research Center Deputy Director  Dr. Sevcan Üstün gave "Certificates of Participation" to Hasan Arıkan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Pınar Tüzüm Demir.
