The “April 15 World Art Day Faculty of Fine Arts Academic Staff Exhibition,” organized for the second time this year by the Uşak University Faculty of Fine Arts, met with art lovers in the foyer area of the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center.

Open to visitors between April 15–18, 2025, the exhibition’s opening was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Özav, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Mithat Yılmaz, Secretary General Bülent Şahin, Deputy Secretary General İbrahim Gencer, academic and administrative staff, and numerous students.

In his opening speech, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Lütfi Özav congratulated the faculty members whose works were featured in the exhibition and emphasized the importance of such events for the artistic and cultural development of the university.

Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Mithat Yılmaz stated in his speech, “April 15 is the birthday of world-renowned artist Leonardo da Vinci. Since 2012, this date has been celebrated as ‘World Art Day.’ In this context, we organized this exhibition consisting of works by our faculty members. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.”

A Special Exhibition for April 15 by 23 Artists

The exhibition, which features works by 23 artists, is academically coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Zafer Güngen. The exhibition will be open for visits until April 18.
