Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), came together with the students of Uşak University at iftar.

Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Özav and Prof. Dr. Osman Birgin and academicians also attended the event.

TUBITAK President Prof. Dr. Mandal, who had iftar with the students at Uşak University Student Dining Hall, gave information about the activities of TUBITAK in the interview after the iftar.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem said, "We are happy to welcome the President of TÜBİTAK, who has visited our university before and met with our students and academicians, once again at our university. TÜBİTAK is one of the most important institutions of our country in the field of science and technology. Prof. Dr. Mandal coming together with our students is a great gain. Our students can ask Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal about the issues they are curious.

Providing information about TÜBİTAK's activities and support for young people, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal stated that the work of young people is very important for Turkey to move forward in science and technology.

Prof. Dr. Mandal stated that TÜBİTAK develops the science and technology-oriented ecosystem together with young people, and advised young people to attach importance to science and technology and to work in this field.

Prof. Dr. Mandal also talked about his acquaintance with TÜBİTAK in his speech. Prof. Dr. Mandal said that he received a scholarship thanks to the TÜBİTAK Project he did at the university and that he completed his doctorate in this way.

TUBITAK President Mandal, who explained in detail the scholarship and project support programs of TUBITAK for students, answered the questions of the students at the end of the interview.
