TUBITAK 2209 Research Projects Preparation Training for Engineering and Health Sciences

Uşak University Technology Transfer Office (UTTO) organized "TÜBİTAK-BİDEB 2237-A Training on Preparation of TÜBİTAK 2209 Research Projects in Engineering and Health Sciences" between 16-18 October 2023 at Uşak University Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center within the scope of TÜBİTAK-BİDEB 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Support Program.

The training was led by Assist. Assist. Prof. Dr. Gülşah Başkan, Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Engineering faculty member Prof. Dr. Ayşe Merih Sarıışık, Izmir Institute of Technology Faculty of Science faculty member Prof. Dr. Cem Çelebi, Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Engineering faculty member Prof. Dr. Hamdi Melih Saraoğlu, Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University Faculty of Pharmacy faculty member Assoc. Dr. Ersin Demir, Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Engineering faculty member Assoc. Dr. İbrahim Bulduk, Uşak University Vocational School of Health Services faculty member Assoc. Dr. Senem Şanlı took part as instructors.

In the training, which attracted great interest from university students, trainers shared their knowledge and experience with the participants on topics such as basic concepts in project writing, writing the subject and scope, conducting and summarizing literature research, determining the original value and widespread impact of the project, preparing the work time plan, work packages and durations, and issues to be considered in determining success criteria. Writing the project result report, evaluating the project outputs, and transforming the research results into publications were explained in detail.

After the trainings, the trainers examined the works of the students who developed projects on TÜBİTAK 2209 forms and made suggestions. The event ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and participation.
