President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ilim Yayma Foundation Bilal Erdoğan visited the Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş in his office within the scope of their programmes in Uşak.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş thanked TBMM President Kurtulmuş and Bilal Erdoğan for their visit and gave information about the achievements of Uşak University in the last five years, its contributions to education and research activities and future projects.

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Prof. Dr. Kurtulmuş signed the Book of Honour of the University and emphasised the contributions of the University to education and research activities. Stating that the studies carried out by Uşak University on regional development are remarkable, Kurtulmuş thanked all academic and administrative staff, especially Rector Savaş, for their successful studies and wished the students of Uşak University success in their education life.
