The education faculty which has started education with the Turkish language and literature teaching and educational sciences department is now going on education with these departments;

The number of students in education faculty is 1759.

   There are 2 professors, 22 assistant Prof. Dr., 11 lecturers, 9 research assistants, 1 specialist and 1 instructor in academic staff and in the administrative staff 1 faculty secretary, 2 civil servants, 2 servants, 1 driver and 1 furnace man service.

   Our faculty has got a building and classrooms which are suitable for education in 1 Eylul campus. There are 12 classes, a computer laboratory, and an informatics laboratory, a technology laboratory, a music room, a sport hall, a mechanical drawing room, a conference hall in the faculty and the office of city’s exam administration of OSYM and AOF places also in education faculty building.

   The use of developing information technology, development of necessary materials in education, the candidate teachers’ use of computer, multimedia, TV, video projector, overhead projector in education forms the aim of education programs. In addition to this, the aim is to prepare the candidate teachers for lifelong learning process by strengthening their analytic thinking skills and developing their problem solving skills.

   The faculty administration, while choosing and appointing of instructors, decided to work with academic staff who contribute to advance of learning and teaching levels in terms of quality and quantity and adopt Ataturk’s principles and revolutions by developing objective criteria related to provide experience in internal and abroad in the society and education institutions.

   Our mission as Usak University education faculty is to educate qualified teachers who can use education technologies and to make them useful in general and special education fields. Our main aim is to educate teachers who is in harmony with herself and the other people while teaching “teaching techniques” ,has dedication to his/her job, don’t abstain from taking responsibility, can think critical and can convey her/his ideas in a modern way.
